New server...
We're now on a new server - the old one served us well but was starting to creak at the seams a bit from the traffic and website performance had begun to suffer. In any case we've now got a whopping shiny new server with gigs of ram and loads of space for DVDs and loops =)
I've also nearly finished making some adjustments to the naming conventions of the loops (on and off-site) which should streamline the process of adding new content quite noticably. Once that's completed I have several new sets of loops to go on the site, some from some new artists and some from those you already know of...and even some from me. Watch this space, or better still subscribe to my newsletter :).
DVD burning for loops and downloads
If you are not able to use the download service for any reason but still want VJ Loops and DVDs then this is for you.
The VJ content and some of our DVDs are currently *only* available as downloads (e.g. Hollowsphere, AlbinoMosquito), so at our customers' request, we've added products which will let you order a version of downloadable items to be burnt to DVD and posted to you. This comes in 3 flavours:
The VJ DATA DVD will include all the versions of the clips you buy so that you can experiment with the different formats at lesiure.
The VJ VIDEO DVD needs an extra encoding stage (where we compile the clips into a playable DVD for you) which takes a while to do and hence it costs more than a straight burn.
All in all though, you could get a playable Video clips DVD made up with *just* the clips you choose, for no more than an average clips DVD.

Resident Alien Vol1 Now available in NTSC
We recently added Vol1 and 5 from the "Resident Alien" series of DVDs as downloads, but untill now they were both only available in PAL format. I've just added the NTSC version of "Vol 1", I don't currently have an NTSC version of Vol5 so that one is still only available in PAL for the moment.
