Apologies but postal orders are offline for a while. We currently have some disc-printing issues which have ended up taking a back seat due to the upcoming DVD release. Hopefully we should be back up and running in a week or so.

this is a mix of loops from the VJ/visualist group Kontainer, based in Cologne, Germany. Who I actually just met for the first time on the way back from holiday :)

Their VJ content has proven very popular with our customers over the last year or so and we'd had a number of requests for a pre-mixed DVD using them - this DVD answers that request.

The mix has quite a varied pace with noticably more intense and chilled-out bits but nothing too extreme in either direction, so should fit well with most dancey-type music.

It's a mostly "subtractive" mix which makes for some lovely washes of colour whilst making sure the beamer doesn't drown your lighting rig. The slightly darker mix also meant it was possible to ... read more

Changes to our DVDs-by-post format means we can pass savings on to you. After our little survey re DVD packaging we're now switching to the lightweight "Clamshell" cases and getting rid of the full DVD cases and printed covers. They're light, tough and use less plastic too. Read more.

Yes finally it's ready - after much testing, fiddling and deliberation here's the first of hopefully several Video DVDs for VJs from AcidGFX.

The DVD is meant for use in pioneer DVJs as well as regular DVD players and runs for just under an hour in total. It features some of the best-selling backdrops from the shop as well as some previously unreleased loops. Read more Here

LOOPSDEMOs on OpenFilm.com

The same guys who were behind FullScreenMusic.com have recently launched another site: "OpenFilm.com". It's more-or-less like a high-resolution youtube but without the junk.

What it also is, is a great place for us to post video mixes of our VJ loops and also some DVD samples. I've posted versions of the first two "LOOPSDEMO" mixes videos on there and the third one should be coming up shortly.

So far these mixes have only been available to members of my newsletters/mailing list (yes at DVD quality, see bottom of this page), but because of copyright even there I can't include the audio along with the download which is a shame because the two are intrinsically linked.

Well apparently we're ok to include the audio on openfilm and they stream at more-or less up to HD which is good news for you.

Jim Sullivan has also signed up and has been busy posting stuff in an abstract-visual stylee. He's in my friends list or direct link here.

NuVJ "Scratch Lock" hardware modification

We're now on a new server - the old one served us well but was starting to creak at the seams a bit from the traffic and website performance had begun to suffer. In any case we've now got a whopping shiny new server with gigs of ram and loads of space for DVDs and loops =)

I've also nearly finished making some adjustments to the naming conventions of the loops (on and off-site) which should streamline the process of adding new content quite noticably. Once that's completed I have several new sets of loops to go on the site, some from some new artists and some from those you already know of...and even some from me. Watch this space, or better still subscribe to my newsletter :).
